It has a mandarin-style collar with a three-button placket and button and loop closure, and elasticated sleeves gauged at the shoulder seam. It has pockets and an optional self-tie belt, which can be left off for a straight, unstructured shape or tied at the waist to add definition. It's made in Cape Town, South Africa, by a small all-female team, in a limited run.

Royal blue and white is polka at its brightest, and Sloane wears it easily. Leave the belt off and it falls loose. Tie it in and the same dress reads more defined.

The mandarin collar and three-button placket keep the neckline tidy, the gauged sleeves add volume through the arm, and the back is gathered under a yoke so it moves with you. It has pockets.

The Sloane has a relaxed, straight fit, so there's no waist to size around. Wear it loose, or tie the belt in for shape. Our model is 1.70m and wears a size 32. Take your usual Signature by Des size for a comfortable, easy fit.

Hand wash only, and wash dark colours separately. We suggest washing by hand to ensure the longevity of your garment, because a lot of care went into making it. Treated gently, the Sloane will hold its colour and shape season after season, ready whenever you want it.
