The Riley is a tiered maxi skirt made from 100% viscose, in our Cabana Stripe: a painted stripe in coral, teal, oxblood, pink and mustard. It has an elasticated waist and side pockets, and the full, gathered skirt drops into a single tier at the hem, falling to the ankle. It's made in Cape Town, South Africa, by a small all-female team, in a limited run.

The stripe runs straight down the skirt, then turns sideways at the tier, so the hem reads as its own band of colour every time you move. The elasticated waist means no zips and no buttons, so you just pull it on. The pockets are deep enough to actually use.

Wear it with the Brooke top in the same Cabana Stripe for a full set, as shot, or break it up with a white tee and flat sandals.

The Riley has an elasticated waist, so it's easy to wear and forgiving through sizing. The skirt is full and gathered, with plenty of room through the hip, and it sits comfortably at the natural waist before falling to the ankle. Take your usual Signature by Des size.

The Riley is made from 100% viscose. It's soft, light and breathable, with a fluid drape that lets the skirt and its tiered hem swing as you walk. It feels cool against the skin on hot days and moves easily from beach to long lunch.

How do I wash and care for it?
Hand wash only, and wash dark colours separately. We suggest washing by hand to ensure the longevity of your garment, because a lot of care went into making it. Treated gently, the Riley will hold its colour and shape season after season, ready whenever you want it.

Wear it with the Brooke top in the same Cabana Stripe for a full set, as shot, with flat sandals and a crochet bag. Or break it up with a white tee, a teal top or a denim shirt. Coral, mustard and gold accessories pick up the stripe.
