The Parker is a pair of barrel pants made from 100% viscose, in our Cabana Stripe: a painted stripe in coral, teal, oxblood, pink and mustard. It has an elasticated waistband with a drawcord and the signature toggle detail, and side pockets. The leg is roomy through the hip and curves gently in towards the ankle. It's made in Cape Town, South Africa, by a small all-female team, in a limited run.

The stripe runs straight down the leg, so the barrel shape reads long and easy rather than wide. The elasticated drawcord waist, finished with the signature toggle, means the fit adjusts to you, and the viscose keeps it light on hot days.

Wear it with the Reese shirt in Watermelon, as shot, and let the stripe lead, or with the Brooke top in the same Cabana Stripe for a full set.

Do the barrel pants run true to size?
The Parker has a relaxed, elasticated fit, so it's forgiving through sizing. The drawcord lets you adjust the waist, and the barrel leg gives room through the hip before curving in at the ankle. Our model is 1.70m and wears a size 32. Take your usual Signature by Des size.

What fabric is it made from and how does it wear?
The Parker is made from 100% viscose. It's soft, light and breathable, with a fluid drape that lets the barrel leg fall easily rather than stand stiff. It feels cool against the skin on hot days, and the painted stripe keeps its colour beautifully with gentle care.

How do I wash and care for it?
Hand wash only, and wash dark colours separately. We suggest washing by hand to ensure the longevity of your garment, because a lot of care went into making it. Treated gently, the Parker will hold its colour and shape season after season, ready whenever you want it.

What can I wear it with?
Wear it with the Reese shirt in Watermelon, as shot, and let the stripe lead. It also works with the Brooke top in the same Cabana Stripe for a full set, or a white tee for the day. Velvet flats and a raffia clutch finish it off.
