The Hollis is a striped shirt dress made from 100% viscose, in our Cabana Stripe: a painted stripe in coral, teal, oxblood, pink and mustard. It has a collar, a button-through front with wooden buttons, and dropped shoulders with wide, cuffed short sleeves. A wide self-tie sash wraps the waist, and it has pockets and side slits. It's made in Cape Town, South Africa, by a small all-female team, in a limited run.

The stripe runs one way down the body and turns sideways across the placket, cuffs and sash, so the details stand out without any extra fuss. The edges are softly brushed rather than crisp, which gives the print its hand-painted feel. Tie the sash tight for shape, or leave it loose and let the dress fall straight. The side slits let it move, and the pockets mean you won't need a bag.

The Hollis has a relaxed shape with dropped shoulders and a wide self-tie sash, so it's forgiving through sizing. Tie it in as much or as little as you like. Our model is 1.70m and wears a size 32. Take your usual Signature by Des size.
